Fantasycon 2018 Plans

Fcon 2018.jpg

You may already be aware that Fantasycon 2018 is running this coming weekend (19th - 21st October) in the Chester Queen Hotel, Chester.

I attended my first Fantasycon last year and readers of this blog may remember that I had the time of my life. I met and spoke with so many talented people over the weekend, I cam e home with a renewed enthusiasm for writing, as well as many new friends who have become firm fixtures in my online life.

Last year, I left home with some trepidation. I wasn’t sure what to expect, or whether anyone would speak to me, or even whether I would find anything useful to say during the panels I was scheduled to take part in. This year, I can’t wait to get there.

I’ll be popping up all over the place but here’s a note of the panels etc that I’m participating in for anyone who wants to catch me.

Friday - 3.30pm - Crowdfunding and Publishing - Panel Room 2

Saturday - 10am - Reading from Petra MacDonald and the Queen of the Fae - Reading Room

Saturday - 5pm - What’s Changed in Worldbuilding - Panel Room 2

Saturday - 6pm - Women in Genre Fiction - Panel Room 4

Sunday - 10am - BFS AGM - Panel Room 1

In amongst all of that, I’m hoping to catch up with some friends from last year and make some ne friends this year. If you see me about, please do feel free to say hello. I love nothing more than talking about books!
