I'm baaaack! For anyone reading this who doesn't already know, I moved house on the 1st of October which is why I have been absent recently. I was unwell for the few days leading up to the move and I received my copyedits on Ashael Rising on the 29th of September so I'm sure you'll all excuse my time away from the blog.
We're settled in the new house, although still unpacking, and the copyedits were sent in to Unbound yesterday so I have a little bit of breathing room to get back to the blog.
I'm departing from my usual structure this week to bring you an article by my fellow Unbounder, Dr Martin Cohen today and an interview with him tomorrow. As of Monday, we'll get back to our usual structure.
I'm accepting prompts for flash fiction and if there's a particular topic you'd like me to do a blog post on then I'd love to hear about it. Drop me line in the comments.
If you're interested in writing a guest post or being interviewed, get in touch through the contact form and I'd be happy to work something out with you.
While I wait for the next step with the book, I have two other projects in mind. First, I'll be working on a short story for the Unbound Short Story Prize and then I'll be writing a piece, most likely a novella, set in the Arctic. I'm cold just thinking about it! I'll keep you updated on how it all progresses.
Don't forget, if you enjoy the flash fiction that I post here, you can access even more by supporting me on Patreon from as little as $1 per month.
